Welcome to Solarduino , A blog about DIY Solar PV and Arduino projects

Meet The Author

Mr. Kwang Han, Lim is a Malaysian Chinese and he was born in the year 1987. He has been practicing and working in the Solar PV Industry as Solar Electrical Engineer for nearly 8 years. He is a Qualified Person (QP) in Designing and Installation for Solar PV On-Grid System certified by Malaysia’s authority, Sustainable Energy Developing Authority (SEDA) since 2012.

He graduated in the National University of Malaysia (UKM) as a Bachelor Degree in Science (Physics) with Distinction in the year 2010. He was granted 5 out of 6 semesters of Dean List Award. He then continued to pursue his Master Degree in Energy of Technology and graduated in the same university 2 years later.

Having a “Scientist Spirit” in his blood, he has high curiosity and he does deep research on subject that catches his eyes. He was first introduced to Solar PV Energy during his secondary school. Inspired by Solar PV concept; “Everybody can generate their own electricity at home”, he was attracted by the beauty and then it became an important milestone of his career life.

When he isn’t glued to a computer screen, he likes to do some Do-it yourself (DIY) projects and experiments specifically on mini Solar PV Projects. It is his determination and curiosity that have lead his friends and colleagues to affectionately him by having a beautiful mind like a Sponge, signifies it could absorbed a lot of knowledge inside it.

Quite recently he realized that Solar PV system especially for smaller DIY PV projects couldn’t go far without its partner, the Arduino micro controller. Arduino is attractive as it is not just a brain, but you can also input your command whatever you need it to do. Thus it has a very wide discovery and possibilities to be applied with Solar PV System.

The Author currently plans to create a documentation of his findings, ideas and his own perception to share around the world. He always feels that knowledge should be made available and share among all. You will find him keep updating by writing and posting until the day he run out of budget.
